2MV Supports Local Charity Football Tournament in Aid of Portsmouth Down Syndrome Association
At 2MV, supporting our customers goes beyond day-to-day business, we’re always proud to stand alongside them in the causes that matter most. This summer, we were delighted to support Ross Walker, UK Head of Supply Chain at Apollo Fire Detectors (a valued 2MV customer for many years), in a charity event he helped to organise and took part in.
The event, hosted at Havant & Waterlooville Stadium at Westleigh Park, was a 7-a-side football tournament featuring teams from across the local region, including community clubs and charity sides. Each year, the tournament raises funds for the Portsmouth Down Syndrome Association, a local charity providing vital support, services and opportunities for children and families.
In 2023, the event raised over £10,000, the single largest donation the charity received that year. With even greater ambitions for 2024, Ross and his team expanded sponsorship opportunities, this year 2MV was honoured to step in with the maximum level of sponsorship available.
Our contribution helped provide pitch-side banners, social media promotion, and event-day visibility, but more importantly, it helped shine a spotlight on a brilliant cause and the incredible work of Portsmouth Down Syndrome Association.
We’re proud to have played a part in such a meaningful community event, and we look forward to seeing the positive impact the funds raised will have.
