TPN Top Tips: Packaging

At TPN – The Pallet Network, we want your goods to reach your customer on time and intact. Correct packaging will help minimise delays and damage.

Top tips for a perfect delivery. Make sure:

  • The goods are suitable for a pallet.
  • Heavy or broad items are on the bottom.
  • All sharp edges or metal is covered.
  • Things are wrapped properly with no rips or tears.
  • Everything is secured to the pallet.

These pallets will be insecure, unsafe and easily damaged.

These wheels will be damaged or do damage.
This crate is falling apart and held by a single band.
These tiles should be stacked flat, not vertically.
This product is too big for the pallet.
These rugs lean over the base
This drum is barely secured.

These pallets are great examples of how to stack and package.

For fragile goods or micro pallets, use a stack stopper sign like this.
